About the candles

The experience of dipping candles is interwoven with warmth, the sweet aroma of honey, and the process of presence.

Beeswax is a biological byproduct of a teeny-bop bee gorging on its honey! Beekeepers will collect their wax, and it can be rendered until it is clean and burnable.

Now, that’s a lot of work in addition to tending the bees, so understandably, wax can be unused or discarded. I’m lucky to have some honey-plugs in denver though! Together, we humbly participate in the system of bees, creation, and life force (fire!) itself. I’m always looking for more bee-st friends too!

From dinner to death, birthdays to moon ceremonies - candles are there to work their magic. Hand dipped with care, these candles are a concentration of my love - in flame & liquid gold.

They’re tiny, twisted and oh so tasty to watch burn! All the pleasure of a melted Intertwined candle but in fraction of the time. Great for shorter meditations, special occasions, to top food or to bring traveling!

Moon-Gazing: Ritual Candle Set

This set of four candles is an invitation to MOON-GAZE with me or support your existing Moon-Magic practices. Each candle is a different size 3”-6” and intended to burn each week in relationship with the moon phases. Starting with the tallest on the New Moon (with the least natural light) moving to the smallest candle at the Moon’s fullest. Each candle bottom is adorned with burnt local sage and marigold seeds from the garden - the bottom is highly flammable and is not intended to be burned but instead buried as a gift to the earth or Ancestors. Or save up the adorned bottoms and throw them into a larger fire and use as sacred/aromatic fire-starter.

Practice: Meditation Candles 8"

Romanticize the ritual of setting aside time to meditate and build your practice one session at a time. Perhaps in the morning before friends, lovers, children and pets call for our attention, we take the time to turn inward - calling attention to ourselves. Intertwined 8”

For you and your next center piece, celebration, or ceremony. The Intertwined candle is a symbol of mailable magic and deep connection. This beeswax becomes liquid gold then cools to smooth butter that’s just soft enough to twist. As the 2 wicks cure and return to solid - they are intertwined together until extinguished. Includes 2 candles.
